Hi everybody,I use Max 4 Live but to build a device it's seems to complicate for me, so I am looking for somebody who can do this for me.
In practise I want to use my Akai APC 40 mk2 in the way, that if a song with various clips is running I could trigger an Akai Pad on a different channel as th one which is currently seen, so that I can make another Clip visible without restarting that one.
I hope you understand what I want to do.
In other words:
e.g. channelstrip 1 and 2 is running, each one has a clip. The clip of channel 2 is visible in the Clip window of Live. While the song is runnig I want to have a look to the clip of channel 1 without restarting it because of pressing the pad on the Akai APC mk2.
For this now and surely more little devices in the future I am looking for somebody.
If you could to that, lets find a fair fee.
Thanks a lot
regards
martin

Question is :
What’s the human action you have in mind to display a clip ?
I could help, but it depends on several factors.

I don't own an APC40 mk2 (or mk1) but to me, the most natural gesture would be to hold "detail view" and hit the clip.
Doesn't it already work that way ?

Scope this out: https://drewreges.com/apc40-mkii/
I have it setup here where when you press a detail/clip button for a track it will bring up the waveform of the playing clip. it's what you were describing I think: move from track to track bringing up the active playing clip's detail view. Scope out the code in that file for function "SetDetailCue()"
I think you might be able to do this through a midi mapping configuration, too.
