Some interesting stuff in there!
There's some things I was surprised and very happy to see after all this time such as 16 macros & snapshots and follow actions can follow clip length! I think people will really appreciate those on stage, and I expect there are some tricks we can perform on them with new API calls available too(?)
The new devices look very nice. I look forward to trying the reverb out. I've always thoughts a modulated convolution is one of the best verbs ... Also fun for sound design and drones with the freeze.
I'm a little surprised that live 10 didn't get more love. I'm sure everyone expected a live 10.2, 10.5 etc. As in previous years. Bringing those who spent big on L10 a few new features. L10"s release looks very underwhelming in comparison, though it brought the new automation page, etc. It didn't really hit with a bang. I expected a point version too.
Ah well. Live 11 looks good and I look forward to trying it out whenever there's a beta. It looks like a fun update.

I upgraded to ten around April this year, cost me £229 to upgrade from 9. I went to check my account, I can pre-order for 143 for 11 or after that it's £179. My friend is still on nine, if he upgrades to ten he can pay £159 now and he get's live 11 free when it comes out. Seems really fair being charged more because I already upgraded...

RIP M4L Convolution Reverb. At least it should be working properly now.
Very happy to see MPE finally here. But seriously, only for Sampler and Wavetable ?
Comping will be super helpful as well.
The rest is cool, but nothing I can already do with M4L.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.

I'm sure they'll add MPE for Operator in Live 11.2 . Ableton always add some great stuff in the point versions !!

You got some nerve here ! i Bought Upgrades since Live 1 and up to Live 10 Suite, now you want me to pay 159 euro for live 11... REALLY? this will make me choose another DAW because this price is unfair for people who already bought the Ableton suite. Ive been doing a lot of work for
Push with vst integrations and done a group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/AbletonPushVstRacks,
with close to 9000 members, this is not good.

Hell Yeah !! Comp is here !! Thanks guys ! I don't see ARA2 Support? Hope It will be implemented soon, for me it's only thing missing for everything to be perfect (oh with a tuner display on Push2...come on guys we ALL need to tune sometimes

). But everything else seems SOOOO HUGE !!!

I like the very laidback message that dropped in my inbox, simply “Live 11 is coming”
Plenty of nice shiny things in there, but the nitty gritty is often the most interesting to me:
Edit loops of multiple clips simultaneously, focus on a single clip in context and easily transpose entire arrangements from one piano roll.
FINALLY!

Hey friends,
Let's celebrate with love!
Yeah I love been shat on by profit driven capitalist's it's great. Angstromm said this update should be fun, that's exactly what it should be a patch update, live 9 and 8 had support and updates for what 5 years now ten get's 3 years of updates then it's shelved, na fuck that. As I mentioned my friend can pay 159 to upgrade from 9 to ten and get 11 free yet I can pre order for 143 or wait and pay 179 to get 11, so I'm paying far more than my friend who hasn't even upgraded to ten.
Imagine the love you would feel if you just bought ableton last month. There should be a sliding scale taking into account when you purchased and your upgrade price, not a flat fee it stinks and the fact ableton versions usually run for five years and now we have 11 so suddenly seems like a cash grab, certainly won't be updating probably never after this shite.

I've been using Live exclusively since version 1. This is the most excited I've been for an upgrade since MIDI was added (was that in v4?). MPE and comping alone would've done it, but the expanded follow actions and Macros and probabilities... I'm supremely stoked.

I don't know if I make the upgrade; after three years and on version 10.1.25 stepping to 11 for another € 159.......
Since last year, I also use Reason 11 suite, with a lot of stuff that comes to AL 11 now...... Just do not know.
I feel, like mentioned before, it has to be 10.2 or 10.5 or whatever....... I feel like we have been let down this time.

Akai Force, Soundcraft UI24R, ESI M4U eX, Reason 12, Live Suit 10, Presonus Eris E8 and Monitor Station V2, Akai MPK mini MK3, Korg N1, Yamaha RM1x & Behringer TD3MO and RD9
