I am out of ideas and checked every forum entry on the subject and cannot for the life of me figure out a strange issue I noticed recently.
I recently got a laptop that is to me a massive upgrade. It's an i5 core 2.8 ghz 16 gb ram comp which is significantly faster than my old dual core one that I used to use for doing live electronic music/DJ sets using Ableton 8.4.2
After installing all my drivers/software everything seems to be working as it always has except for one glaring thing. When I switch pages on my original launchpad mk1 with my custom live set open the CPU usage jumps up dramatically from a solid only 10%-15% to over 200% causing the sound to glitch and delay. As I perform back to back DJ sets with friends, perfect sync is a must so this will render the whole setup useless. Is there anything I kind do to fix this? I've done every possible windows optimization guide I can find for this sort of thing. My much weaker machine could do all this with no problem though I was using XP still on that while this one is running Windows 10. I assumed this would be no problem but hopefully there is a solution out there. The problem only seems to occur when I'm running Ableton using an MBox2 with it's own ASIO drivers. I ran the same live set with ASIO4ALL drivers and it works without any hiccups.
Don't have any place or anyone else to turn to. Thanks so much for your help!

Did you find a way to resolve this? I'm currently experiencing the same problem
