Ableton and Reaper

Hi everyone,
First of all I apologize for my bad english.

I was wandering if it's possible to use Ableton and Reaper in the same moment and routing the audio from Reaper to Ableton, then again in Reaper.
I use Reaper to work on a track when I finished acquiring sounds, but I often need Max4Live effects so I would like to have freedom in routing the signal where I want whitout the master/slave limitations.
