I've been hearing a popping sound when I drag and drop plug ins in Live 10(most recent version)... I do a lot of Option+Drag in my work flow so this is really problematic...
I've tested this with a Chorus and a Channel EQ plug in... then tried it with a Valhalla Supermassive: only happens with the Live effects.
I didn't think it could be my fairly recent MacBook Pro( 2019 ,16" ,i7 , 16gb ram...) which I only just bought, but for the sake of trying out a few things before posting on here I turned off the built in speakers and found it less noticeable in my headphones...
Haven't had the time to try it through my interface and monitors yet...
Any help or ideas would be great!
Cheers!

Re: Popping sounds when drag and dropping Ableton Effects.
There may sometimes be a hiccup when you drop an effect in while you are in playback because there may be a need to adjust the overall latency of the application for the new effect.
You can try and enable the option "reduce latency while monitoring" in one of the menus. This has to be enabled manually each time you start Live tho.
