Capture audio straight into Simpler

I'd like the option to select an input channel in Simpler with start and stop record buttons.

I'd also like a constant buffer of, say up to 5 seconds, that when I click 'previous' captures the content of the buffer in Simpler.

I had these features on an old Roland sampler, first one I had, and I still miss them!

There is workaround with js or clyphx but it 's not exactly that..

it's so hard to find this feature in vsts and if any daw should have this it's LIVE. plus make those record and stop buttons midi mappable

in the meantime, there is a max device called Beat Labs Instant Sampler. Realtime recording and you can map the start/end points to midi.
