Hello, I am using Ableton 10 as my primary environment, and Reason 11 for instruments.
I would like to control my Reason instrument running as a VST3 in Ableton. For example, I would like to use a Reason drum machine, and change the patch, or twist a knob.
While in Ableton, how can I map MIDI controls to knobs and buttons in a Reason VSTs?
Thank you in advance
Peter

Re: Controlling Reason VST3 in Ableton
In the configure mode, you can assign parameters to the macro sliders and automate them. To enter configure mode look at: https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/worki ... igure-mode
I tried Kong, but not all knobs can be automated though...... I also have Live 10 suite and Reason 11 suite.
Maybe you can automate more parameters, but I think the only ones to automate are the ones you can assign to a slider/macroknob (on Push).

Thank you Miyaru, that's good enough for me. I really only need to change the drum pattern during the song.
Reason in Ableton is an awesome combination. I hope the two companies continue to improve the integration of their products
