Loudspeaker Cursor jumps back

When working with Live! V 10.1.5 (and also the previous versions) in the Arrangment view, I use a lot the small speaker to listen to a track(s) from a certain point on.
Sometimes, not always, when I click on the loudspeaker on the start position, I see a small triangle blinking and after 1 à 2 seconds, the ruler jumps back to restart from the original position.
The same happens also in the clip view.

All that is very annoying. Is there a way to prevent that jumping back?

I've received an answer from the technical support: the cause is the value set for the Global Launch Quantization.
If this sound as Chinese, look at the left upper list of knobs: you have "Link", "Exit", "Tap"... The most right sided knob shows normally the value "1 Bar".
That's the knob! Change the value to "None" and the problem is solved!

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm having the same issue, also in clip view. Changing the quantization to None just makes it retrigger the first note super fast for a few seconds, resulting in a buzzing sound.

For me at least when I trigger clips, this only happens when I have a MIDI note assigned. If I remove that assignment it goes away.

Feels like a software bug.

Same behavior here, would love some resolution on this issue. I'd love to keep my Global Quantization set to [X], just not have the playback jump back after initiating via the speaker.

I eventually heard back from Support and we figured out that it was caused by a MIDI loop. My MIDI outputs were triggering my MIDI inputs.

I am having this issue as well and after unplugging all my midi devices, and deactivating their channels, it is still occurring. This is starting to feel more and more like an inherent glitch!!! NOOOO! Say it ain't so! I have scoured the internet and posted in 3 Ableton Live groups on FB and nobody has a solution.

Clips default to following Global Quantization, but they can have their own Launch Quantization settings.
