I've just joined as i've used ableton a little in the past, and ive got some basic skills and understanding of DAW's and home recording. I'm a Singer/Songwriter and i've always roughly recorded my music at home and gone elsewhere to record it properly, however in the current climate with the pandemic etc, I've commited to setting up a basic home studio to create my tracks. This is where I need some help! I've got some great live gear that im confident I can create good quality recordings with, but I need some guidance in how to get the most out of my Guitar and wheres best to start with the production once i've got a good take down. I'm using an SSL2 interface, and i've got a Martin electro acoustic with a Fishman F1 pickup, Fishman Loudbox im DI'ing into the SSL, and a small TC Electronic 3 pedal board (Compressor, Reverb, & Delay pedals) - When I Practise I can get some really beautiful sounds out of my gear, I just need to figure out how to get those sounds coming back at me through Ableton!
Apologies if this post is in the wrong place, this is my first post on the forum. I'm currently only using Live 10 lite for the moment, Im planning an upgrade once I've properly got the hang of the lite version.
