Recording

Post by Joeychip » Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:13 pm

Hi guys just a quick one.

I am using the push 2 for a live performance, and triggering scenes from session view, and recording it into the sequencer. I already have audio in the sequencer which are some FX and some vocal layers for the vocalist, that have been pre recorded.

Is there a way to hear the audio that is on the sequencer while I am recording from the session view. I have worked out if I press the single tracks back to arrangement button, but when I launch a new scene it cancels it.

I'm stuck with the terminology to search for, so hoped I could find some info on here.

Thanks for any help guys :)

If you launch scenes which launch clips or the stop button for a track, this overrides anything on the same track in arrangement.

However, if the tracks you have in arrangement don't have clips you play in Session and you simply want to play along with what is in arrangement, you can right-click the clip cells in the tracks and "remove stop button" which should prevent a scene launch from affecting that track.
