OK so I created a midi clip in piano roll, then I recorded that to a midi track in arrangement view, then I did what I thought I was supposed to do to bounce that midi clip to audio, which is right click on it, freeze it,, then drag it to an audio track.
I did all that, and I can't hear it.
I'm finding this program pretty hard to learn. Doesn't seem all that intuitive. I follow directions exactly how people say to do things, and it doesn't work, and then I get lost down a rabbit hole for hours.
Tks.
Trouble Bouncing Midi to Audio
Re: Trouble Bouncing Midi to Audio
What do you have on the midi track? Are you getting sound from the midi track when it’s frozen/not frozen? If so, try right clicking the track to freeze then right clicking again to flatten and see if that works.

Re: Trouble Bouncing Midi to Audio
You do have an instrument on the midi track don't you? You won't get sound from midi without an instrument. Instead of just recording the session midi to arrangement, you could record both midi and audio to arrangement at the same time. Then there is no need for "bouncing" in the arrangement view. I don't know what bouncing means.
