I just discovered this absolutely awesome fx abit more using my TriggerFinger and some knobs, but when playing with the Repeatbutton I get phlanging when the BR is in insert mode.
So I need to put it in a sendtrack set to gate and then delay this track about 7ms to soften the effect a bit, but it´s still there.
It´s the same flanging as if you play 2 identical loops togheter.
Is it possible to fix this in some manner?
Greetings

hi serotoninsteve,
if you use Beat Repeat as an insert effect (not in sends) and it is set to the mode 'Insert', you should get no flanging, because no audio will be mixed up. the flanging occurs, if a signal is mixed up with itself with a little delay of some samples, like you said. flanging with Beat Repeat can only occur, when you set to mix mode or when you use the Beat Repeat in a send track. I hope this helps a little bit.
all the best,
matthias

Thanx for the response Matthias,
I want to spice my signal up catching the signal using the repeat button and tweaking grid and decay, as some sort of delay, but I don´t want to replace my signal.
So I delay my send track -7ms to soften that a bit, more or less delay sounds bad and boomy.
I hoped you could technicaly do something to avoid this flanging, in mix mode it´s anoying if you use it a lot.
One of the most underestimated fx in Live I would say.
