export Kontakt .alc suddenly huge file size?

Hi,
I‘m using Kontakt and to me it seems something changed when exporting (dragging) an Ableton Live clip to the browser.
Older clips I exported in earlier versions of Live used to be a couple of KB but now if I export a clip of a Kontakt Instrument it‘s a couple of MB. This is about the same as it would be if I bounced it to audio, seems kind of strange to me.

Any ideas why this is happening?

That Clip has all the Kontakt data necessary to reload Kontakt with the same settings, that can be a lot of data.

Same for Rack presets. I have a Kontakt preset just to load Kontakt with a certain drum library already loaded, the .adg file is 11 MB (edit: actually it is 17 MB).

It greatly depends on the Kontakt lib.

Thanks for the reply. I already guessed that it was due to Kontakt having to recall the Preset correctly, just wanted to make sure.
It‘s not a big issue, HD space is fortunately not that much of an issue these days.
