I do not understand why this feature isnt a part of Ableton. If you have a look at "Logic Pro"s DAW you will notice that Instruments and Effects are way better organized and much better accesible
I can understand that ableton has another approach with their "effect chain view". but to see which Instruments or Effects each chanel has you must click on the Chanel. But i often want to bypass some Effects in the chain, Reorder or copy and paste them accros channels. This could be so much better done with a mix of both approaches. So why not combine the best of two worlds? This could be so cool, like no other DAW. On click on such a button in the overview should toggle on/off the FX and also jumps in the traditional chain-view to directly work with the Instrument or Fx (linked together).
