Launchpad and Launchkey not working on start up

Hi
I dont have a very complicated rig
just laptop (Live 10 Suite, windows 10 64 bit) , launchpad mini and launchkey 37
Every time I boot up these devices (Launchpad and Launchkey) are not recognised, I have to unplug usb and reconnect a few times to get it working
Both the Launchpad and Launchkey go direct into the laptop
I have a RSHTech powered USB hub that has some memory sticks and a mouse plug in
Need to get it booting up right first time!

Might want to contact novation since they make those devices and not Ableton.

it's become a nightmare as in an attempt to improve it nothing now works
its something to do with MISI ports as they are in red typeset in the ableton preferences

Make sure you're matching USB types (3.0 blue, previous versions white/black). Sometimes makes a difference. Also try switching USB ports as I've had a number go bad on a single system.
Unplug USB hub and test have had issues with USB hubs (not dedicated USB docks) causing annoying issues.

Stating obvious but latest and greatest drivers on all sides (assuming a driver update has not caused this compatibility issue). I have a novation launchpad X and worked very well with 10 & 11. Good luck
