Lately, I looked into Presonus' S1 DAW and I really enjoy the possibility of taking snapshots of your plugins.
The visual feedback is way more inspirational than browsing through an endless text list of plugins.

Ye i also really loved this about Reason and FL Studio, also to have a grid view of sample packs in the favourites would be sick as all my Sample Packs contain albumarts.

I made a Concept on how it can look:
I am working very bold with color codes and grids so a workflow that is truly visual would speed me up by a ton! I also come from reason Studio so i really learned the strengths of a visual menu.

Yeah Cubase has this too. You just take a snapshot with the foto icon in the vst window. The tumbs are all stored in your user library folder where you also have all your Cubase user presets stored. So you can keep a backup. And after a re-install everything is back there instantly.
If Ableton should implement it, it should store all thumbs in the Ableton User Library as all (most...) other user related things.
For me first a better plugin management system would be appreciated in Live.

Not for me would get messy with continuous scrolling up and down lists of jpegs, quite like it how it is, easy to use and see individual AU/VST3 presets within the plugins, if you need plugin jpegs in your life, use NI Komplete Kontrol.

If Ableton should implement such a feature I hope they make it optional. I like the way it is now and really think the pics would clutter the browser...
