Hello,
I a 2014 MacBook running High Sierra. I have Ableton 9, 10, & 11 installed on this machine. I just got a new M1 MacBook and have 11 beta & 11 installed.
1) What is the "proper" way to get my user library from the old machine to the new one?
2) Will any .als files located within the user library correctly transfer? Will all necessary audio files/samples/etc come along with it? Are those files all located in the user library/samples folder?
Sorry for the pretty basic questions. :/

Simply copying the User Library folder to my new computer seems to have worked.
In case anyone finds it useful, if collect all and save doesn't work for you, try manage files->project->packing->save pack
