Hi,
I'd like to automate a parameter of an audio effect to the MIDI value (frequency) of the notes playing.
Is there a plug-in/effect in ableton that can take midi note info and send it as automation information?
I'd like to tune the frequency parameter of the Erosion effect to the MIDI that's playing.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Automating parameter using MIDI notes.
I don´t know of any effect in LIVE, that can do what you need. But with a max for live device it should be possible:
Put a midi transformer (for example: https://maxforlive.com/library/device/2 ... -midi-tool) on your midi track (note input).
In this device transform midi notes to cc values.
Send the track output to a virtual midi out port (on windows use loopmidi: https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html).
Get the virtual midi in data into Live via "Midi In Remote" (preferences) and midi map the parameter.
Maybe the min/max range (midi remote) has to be adjusted to your needs.
This is on LIVE 9, maybe 11 has this built in.

Re: Automating parameter using MIDI notes.
Live 11 comes with Expression Control (even Lite).
Besides such devices, you could always hold a note then press another to set a range, when MIDI assigning any parameter.
