Hot swap preview mode

It would be great if the Hot Swap function had an option to preview a sample as though it were swapped WITHOUT actually swapping it.

For example, let's say I have a drum loop and I want to try out some new snares. To hear my loop with a new sample I have to use Hot Swap to apply the sample to my loop. After swapping out different snare sounds, I may eventually decide I don't like any of them and want to go back to my original sample. Unfortunately at this point my original sample is gone and I have to Undo every different sample I previewed and is kind of annoying.

A preview mode would basically allow you to hear your loop with different samples without actually applying them. This way you can preview options without worrying about losing your original one. This is actually how I assumed Hot Swap was supposed to work and was kind of surprised when it didn't.

]I would suggest you do the hot swap and listen. If you don't like it, hit CTRL and Z at the same time and it will go back to the original drum.
