i come from the analog world so i have to work with ableton in arrangement view.
If i name a track prior to recording, all the audio sections in the track have that name.
If i dup the track and rename the track the audio sections still contain the old name.
example. i've recorded a snare/sidestick on the same audio channel. i dup the track put section markers in with ctrl-e, and mute the snare on one and the sidestick on the other. now i have a snare track and a sidestick track.
I can rename the snare track to sidestick, but the individual sections all stay as snare. i can rename each one, but i can't work out how to rename them all in one go. in some cases i've got tracks with 20 or 30 sections of audio and songs with 20 or 30 tracks it'll be so time consuming
is there a way to mass rename audio sections within a track like you can change the color?
