Did anyone else experience something similar?
Cheers

Packs' samples are protected. This shouldn't be a problem from Grain Scanner, but apparently you've found a situation where it is.dariuszickus wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:45 amIf I drag and drop a sample from one of the Ableton Packs, where samples are stored within Package Contents, Grain Scanner has trouble remembering the directory path and on project reopening reloads the default sample from its own library. But, if I drag and drop a sample from anywhere else on my computer it seems to work as intended and when saving a project remembers where the samples are.
Never assume.dariuszickus wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:45 amWell, I only downloaded it a couple of days ago, so presumably, it's the latest version.
Can't find how to attach files/screenshots/images to forum posts?
I hope you got in touch with support@ableton.comdariuszickus wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 8:19 pmHi! I saved samples into a different place, rather than just drag&drop files from the Ableton packs sidebar. That seems to solve the problem. Didn't test any further.
Tried running Max 8.3 with Ableton, version that just came out, that didn't work, project with several instances of Grain Scanner fell apart, weird clicks and pops, parameter settings did not play back correctly. Reverted to bundled version, all good again, but decided to print everything to audio. It feels a little unreliable with saving stuff.
Thanks
I’m curious to know how you managed to copy samples from packs. Usually I can’t do that because they are protected.dariuszickus wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 8:19 pmHi!
