Elektron Analog Heat - Overbridge beahvior in Ableton - Freeze Track

Hi All,
I did a quick search and found some conflicting information.

If I'm using Analog Heat as a plugin on a track can I just freeze it in order to get the processing of the heat on that track? Or do I need to send the out put of the processing of the Heat to another track and record it live?
