Unwanted folder in Plug Ins

Unwanted folder in Plug Ins

Live created a top level folder called "VST" in my Plug Ins folder in the browser. I only have vst plugins so the folder is unnecessary. Is there any way to get rid of it? In preferences I point Live to custom vst folders. I've tried resetting those folders in preferences but the "VST" folder remains.

If you have only VST2 plugins installed, then disable the VST3 folders in preferences and the folder will disappear.
