I'm using Live 11 to run sound and light cues for musical theater. Ableton is launching all the audio cues and triggering lighting cues in Lightkey by MIDI.
It seems the only way to set Follow Actions on MIDI clips is using Bar/Beat/16th timing while Follow Actions on audio clips that are not warped use minutes & seconds. That makes setting Follow Actions on MIDI clips that are timed to specific points in audio clips pretty much a guessing game.
Is there a way to set Follow Actions on MIDI clips using minutes & seconds? That would make syncing Follow Actions with non-warped audio so much easier!
Follow Action Timing for MIDI Clips
Re: Follow Action Timing for MIDI Clips
Found the solution. Just set the scene tempo to match the audio clip, turned on warp, and was able to set follow actions by bar/beat/16th on audio & MIDI. Now just gotta remember to set tempo on all my audio that needs synced with light cues so the warp doesn't screw up the audio!
