is there only 1 stereo output in Live

Hi,
I'm running Ableton live shortly for live-performances. Before we worked with seperate drum-machines and sequencers. Because we are working with live-drums on stage I need to split up the signal into "Beats" and "Sequences" (for monitoring and the front of house mix, etc...) I can't find the way to do it...is it possible in Live anyway??

You needs a sound card/interface with more than one output, naturally. In OSX you'll want to check the Audio MIDI utility (Applications -> Utilities) to make sure they're all enabled. Then check Live's preferences. Then(!) just use the drop down menu on each track to select an output.

...seemed everything was working out just fine, but there 's still a problem. everytime I physically take the usb connector from the EMI 2/6 away from the powerbook (when it's shut off, for transport) next time i start up ableton the audio is disabled and the routing is gone...any ideas?? (logic doesn't have that problem, it's just ableton)

Even if you have the EMI plugged back in?

yes, plugged in at startup..the core-audio somehow resets to internal soundcard again, and I have to redo the setting again..I'll have to check it before every concert i'm afraid..

Tis very weird indeed. I'm using a 2/6 as well, on OSX, and this doesn't happen to me. 'fraid I can't really help you any further. You have the latest drivers?
