I have midi clips that I use as dummy clips to control pitch device on and chain selector that affects parameters non assigned in the enveloppes.
Which is really problematic...
You'll find a video of my issue in this link : https://youtu.be/duglzuMCckA
In my exemple : I create 3 dummy clips, each of them control different parameters (thanks to their envelop) : the first one a chain selector 22, the second one a chain selector 0, the third on a Pitch device on. Each of them control exclusively one parameters with only one envelop automation.
When I launch them one after the other I realize that the two clips assigned to the chain selector also modify the Pitch Device on.
It is very annoying because I cannot "trust" my dummy clips. Does anyone experience the same situation ?
I am on live 11.2.5, macOS Monterey.

Re: Problem of dummy clips controlling parameters non assigned in their envelops.
in the example when I click on the "chain selector 0" clip it changes the states of the device pitch (which shouldn't be the case), and when I click on the Pitch on clip, it changes the chain selector.
Re: Problem of dummy clips controlling parameters non assigned in their envelops.
I may be imagining things, but Live seems to have changed on this respect in some recent version update.
A parameter that was automated in one clip used to be left alone when triggering other clips in the same track, but now that automated parameter resets to its previous state, prior to being automated, when a different clip is triggered.
I find myself having to add automation envelopes of such parameter to all clips now.
I can see how this is advantageous for certain workflows, but I'd rather have it left as it used to be, or choose in Preferences which behaviour suits you.
