Hey, I'm David, a 17 y/o from the US. I've been actively using Ableton for well over a year now, and I just had an inquiry about a good idea for a future feature.
I've found that sometimes when in a project, I've used the same audio/midi clip in a dozen separate places with different lengths and segments, sometimes on different tracks entirely, and whenever I make a change to the clip, I have to go through and update each clip individually.
I would absolutely love a feature where, when copying a clip, you can have an option to "copy from source clip", and have it linked to the said clip. Therefore, when you change something on the source clip(or maybe even any linked clips), it updates all the linked clips as well(like how looped sections work, but with separated clips).
This would be a huge QoL improvement and I'm sure there are plenty of users who would be extremely appreciative to have this sort of functionality.
Thanks!

Re: Linked clips
If you've got M4L there's a device called Alias Clips by jgarcia if you don't care about dropping ten dollars. It would be nice if this was an official feature in Ableton I do agree.
