I just upgraded from Live 9 to 11.
I have hundreds of classical and ambient songs that I saved as clips in various library folders. For each clip, "Warp" is off (since they are beatless songs), and I've set particular start and end points, as well as adjusted the gain. So each one of these songs has an associated analysis file saved in the same folder.
When I drag and drop the song file into a Live 11 track (either with Live's browser or from the Macintosh Finder folder), it doesn't seem to recognize the settings in the existing ASD analysis file. It doesn't load my saved start, end, and gain settings.
Is there anyway to get Live 11 to recognize the settings in the Live 9 ASD files?
(Weird Note: the clips that I warped with Live 9 load up fine with their analysis files in Live 11. It's just the songs that I saved as unwarped that have this problem.)
Live 11 not recognizing old analysis files?!
Re: Live 11 not recognizing old analysis files?!
Do you they load as expected in L9?
When you say "songs" (as opposed to "clips"), what do you mean exactly? Plain wav/aiff files?

I mean plain wav files. I mostly use Live for DJing. I have thousands of songs (wav files) warped, with the start and end points marked. I also have hundreds of beatless tracks, with warping turned off, also with the start and end points marked. The warped wav files are loading fine in Live 11 (with the old analysis info), but the ones that I had saved as unwarped are not loading in Live 11 with the analysis info intact.

And they probably load in the same way in L9.
Save them as clip (.alc) instead. If you save them as .wav/aiff the analysis file doesn't do what you're after; the clip start/end but also loop in/out, transpose, gain etc properties are... clip properties, not file properties.
