help with quantisize

Post by JDS123 » Mon Feb 13, 2023 8:47 am

I messed something up.

I've made 6 songs with techno style chords in a track, tons of tracks, i would bring up the notes and high lite them and just hit quantisize and they just fix my bad timing, dial it in perfect without messing up the timing.

i'm using a sl mk3.

Now i just go to new live set, and doing everything i always did, but when i quantisize now, it makes them wonky.

i looked at the quantisize settings on the previous tracks and they are set the same.

what could i have messed up?

just 4/4 bars, simple stuff, but now no mater what i set quantisize to its out of wack.

what am i missing?

it used to just perfectly scoot the notes over a touch if any were off.

is it something to do with warp

The first place I would look is your settings for the time divisions on your track which might have gotten messed up. Zoom in to a single measure in your MIDI track and see where all the time divisions are and check what you Quantize settings are set to. It's possible you somehow turned on triplets and that's what it's resolving to.
