Virgin Newbie can't even start - please help!

Hi,

Have just installed Live 5.0.2, however when I open Live I cannot set 'Options -> Preferences -> Audio' to any of my audio devices - the syetem just hangs - requiring a hard power-down of the PC. i.e. I can't even close Live or reboot the PC.

If I open Cubase (SX 3.1) I can set Live as a ReWire Slave and then I get audio from Live all OK.

However I cannot get Live to run in standalone mode with an audio device selected.

Audio devices are Yamaha 01X and Novation Remote X25.

Any help or guidance greatly appreciated!

try deleting your preferences.
they might be screwed up during the update.
