I'm in.

Hi,

I've got some Editors Keys for Pro Tools! They really are amazing!

I agree they should definatly do a set for Ableton Live!

I'd be in too! I've just sent them an email asking for them!

we should all bombard them with emails that way they might get them done quicker lol!

maybe I'll get flamed to HE-double hockeysticks for this, but what *is* the big deal about paying 10£ for a set of stickers? I could sell you 100 sheets of printable stickers for a fiver...

Stickers

Post by kevintull » Tue Oct 11, 2005 9:02 am

The Editors Keys ones are more like thin layers of plastic rather than 'just stickers'

also your paying for the proffesional look and the licence of them. They are only £8.99 which isnt bad either!

Quick response, then let us help them to make the best for us

That`s what i received today;

Dear Rikhy Ray,

Thank you for your email to Editors Keys.com

Its completely fine for you to start a thread about us, in fact is nice to
see people talking about Editors Keys in musical discussions.

You'll be pleased to know we are planning a set for Ableton Live which
should be available within the next two - three months.

May we ask you some questions on Ableton which will help us with our market
research on Ableton.

How many shortcuts do you use in Ableton personally?
Do you have a favorite shortcut set-up or do you prefer to use the defaults.

Many Thanks

Mark Brown

Sweet! They ship to the US?

That Optimus thing looks ok and the idea functionally is great but cost and reliability-wise I'm not convinced. Keyboards take quite a pounding and in their present analog incarnation they're fairly robust and most importantly easily replaced, a few of those fancy lcd keys go and yiz fekt!! Bring the stickers I say!

editorskeys

Post by kevintull » Tue Oct 11, 2005 2:48 pm

Well i've just been on their website and they're other sets are all £8.99 so i wreckon they be the same!

The ship to every country in the world too!

That optimus keyboards a bit of a myth its just a design made by a design company, there's no way it would be released it would too much to make a keyboard with over 100 little colour screens think about it!

The stickers are the best, mine look great i'll try and upload a pic!

The editorskeys labeled keys thing is a great idea but those keyboards are HUGE!

Looks about twice the depth of an apple bluetooth keyboard!
