Each drum hit on its own channel

Hi

I currently use a drum machine (Captain Beat from Mixed In Key) and would like to know how to route each individual drum hit into its own channel in Ableton so I can process it separately and use side chaining etc. It has a total of 16 channels.

I can't figure the routing out. Amy help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never met Captain Beat, but here's what I'd try... (This presumes that your Captain does have multiple outs...)

1) Load CaptainBeat onto a track.
2) Create a new audio track, and
3) For that audio track look under "Audio From" and from the first dropdown menu select "CaptainBeat".
4) From the second dropdown select the next output from CaptainBeat.
5) Set monitor to "in" for the track.
6) Then open extra audio tracks and repeat steps 3,4,5 for the rest of your multiple outs.
