Synchronize Drum Rack Sample with timeline

Post by Klangraum » Wed Apr 05, 2023 11:13 am

Is there a way to synchronize longer samples in the Drum Rack with the timeline, while scrubbing? A sample is always triggered from start, no matter where the play head sits, but should be started right on play head position like on audio tracks.

Is this for recording/ resampling purposes? Or do you want to scrub around the recorded set and the drum-rack-as-sampler at the same time? Could you maybe explain a bit more about the use case, desired behavior vs behavior you are seeing? Possibly?

Drum-Rack-as-a-sampler is the right use case. As I use the Lite version, I extend my track limit a little. But as I mentioned, when hopping around with the play head the (longer) samples are not triggered on point. They run differently to each other. In Renoise for instance is a feature, called "Autoseek", that can follow the sample position according to play head position. It always triggers right.
