Ableton 11 and Ventura 13.3 Constant Audio/Visual Freeze

I am on a Macbook and am having constant issues with freezes. I can see that at the top of my screen where the Apple control center is, the orange "microphone on" light is active and when the freeze happens I see the orange light turn on. I've had to fully disable Ableton's access to the microphone in my Mac settings which for obvious reasons is a problem. Is there a fix coming for this? I've seen nothing else online about this, any tips?

Are you using the latest Live version?

Apparently it was a faulty "mac adapter"... I don't know which adapter though.

Anyone with this problem could you please provide more info - what is an audio freeze, what is a visual freeze?

What is your Mac config - which macOS version and Ableton version are you using? Is this on internal display or external displays or both...
