Can I launch clip AND stop all others with one click?

In session view I want to be able to launch one clip AND stop all others on the same downbeat to do a breakdown. Easy in arrange view but I can't see how to do live. I don't want to use solos/mutes because it would be nice to then bring parts in as normal by launching clips and therefore on the exact downbeat...

hi there, the most straightforward way to achieve this using standard Live features is to put your breakdown clip in an otherwise empty scene/row in Session View. then use the play button in the Master track to launch the scene...

And picking fishmonkey's ball up and running with it... remember to make sure there's a "stop" on every other track in the new scene/row otherwise they'll carry on playing.
