creating ambient styles of music

Hi everyone

So I have been busy revisiting my Ableton Live suite and was wondering ,what is a good way or approach of creating ambient styles of music.?

I have messed around in the past,trying out various ideas .S
Some have said, elsewhere " Oh Ableton is good for only for live sessions and techno" Etc,which is a load of rubbish,I think

I was thinking of using my Ableton Live sample packs,,Omnisphere 2 VsT synth , various ,Kontakts libraries ,Making use of the clip and session views

would like to hear from you,on your ideas thoughts or suggestions

My personal preference is to use Kontakt due mainly to the vast amount of great ambient libraries out there. There's a ton of stuff on the multilayered synth side as well as traditional instruments that can be mixed in on different tracks to add a more pro flavor to the ambient styles.

Yes I agree there is a lot of great Kontakt libraries out there.But noticed these is a lot of great stuff in Ableton Live packs too
Ahhh!! too many choices
I would like to do something maybe hybrid-ish ( mix of Wav files ,Kontakt libraries and Omnisphere 2. I will have to experiment!
