PUSH 3 - External Instruments Bug

Post by tobypike » Tue Jun 20, 2023 12:35 am

There is an issue with External Instruments pathways when switching between my computer and Push 3 'standalone'. Whenever I switch between the two modes, I then have to reassign each of my midi hardware connections because there is a unique 'pathway' between each mode.

The pathways are as such:
Computer
MIDI TO: OB6 Module

Standalone
MIDI TO: OB6 Module MIDI 1

I don't know why there is a naming difference between the two modes (the inclusion of MIDI 1 on standalone), but it's super annoying to have to reconnect each time I switch between computer and push 3. @ableton can you please update this in the next software update.

I am experiencing the exact same issue - makes for a not-so-seamless transition between computer and standalone. A big annoyance when preparing for live sets.
