MIDI Notes not playing correctly

Hello everyone, this is my first post here so bear with me

I'm using the latest version of Ableton Live 11 on Windows 10, and upon revisiting one of my older projects from 2021 made with Live Trial, I noticed one of the tracks has MIDI notes that do not play back consistently

It is a drum rack from the Session Drums Studio Pack (Kit-StudioBasic) and it is the Tom High Studio Basic that sometimes fails to play. I also noticed, while it fails to play sometimes, it seems to fail the most when another MIDI track below it is also playing, another VST called "Guitar Slides" from the pack "Guitar and Bass"

I don't know if it's of any use, but the project also informs me that I'm missing a sound, called "Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick-2"

Sorry for replying to my own topic, but while working on a newer project, I encountered the same issue. This time the VST is "Lightly Treading" from the "Probability Pack"

Both of these could be for different reasons.

The Tom drum one sounds like it might be a round robin Tom drum sample where one or two of the samples is missing.

The other one is called ‘probability pack’. So I’d be careful to discern. Whether an inconsistency is due to a problem or is by design as a feature.

I don't know, it does play sometimes like I said, but sometimes not.

I would try reinstalling the Studio drums pack first.

Reinstalling the pack did not help.

There is no " Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick-2" sample in the Session Drums Studio Pack, only "Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick" (without "-2").

"Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick-2" is clearly a user saved (and maybe edited) file.

Either find "Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick-2" or just use the original "Tom-StudioBasic8-Stick" in its place.
