Push 3 compatibility with Maschine Mikro m3
Push 3 compatibility with Maschine Mikro m3
Hi all, does anyone know if the Maschine Mikro m3 can be used as an external controller for the Push? I'm trying to figure out if there's a way of using the Mikro without the Maschine software. Plus, there's the problem that Push runs on Linux. (Yes, I love the Push pads, I just like the bigger Maschine style pads for drumming:)) Thanks

Although Maschine devices have a general "MIDI Mode", it is not a class-compliant device -- drivers are required. The Maschine Control Editor software installs the drivers, after which you can map the device to your software of choice.medenine wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 8:08 pmHi all, does anyone know if the Maschine Mikro m3 can be used as an external controller for the Push? Here is a thread for reference (first page of a quick Google search.)
Suite, Push 1, Push 2, Push Standalone

Thanks for your reply. It seems that the driver doesn't download to the Maschine Mikro, but lives on the computer. I don't see how I can make it work unless I can find a way to do that or get it on to the Push somehow.
Re: Push 3 compatibility with Maschine Mikro m3
Drivers will always be on the computer, there’s no way to do what you want I’m afraid.
