Thanks for entertaining my question. this is my first Topic I've posted. I apologize for any protocols I have failed to follow.
I have searched as best I can for this topic but cannot seem to get find an answer.
Suppose I have a number of clips for an intro (or any part of a song); for this example the clips are all set to 16m. Imagine I have drums, keys, bass, and a recorded vocal part. I'm working within the clip display window on a particular clip, say the vocal part; aligning the timing better, as an example. So I want to constantly restart the clip (while hearing all other clips also play back) from various measures to check the timing, as I adjust it. As to not start from the beginning every time.
Within the clip display window of the vocal part (or whatever part I'm working on), I drag the cursor over the upper portion of the window just below measure number 4, where the cursor becomes a speaker icon. I click and the clip begins from measure 4. The clip start splaying at measure 4, however ALL the other clips begin playing form measure 1, rather than at measure 4. so the music is not synced.
What is the setting that will make all clips start together when clicking the speaker icon on any measure within the cap window display?
I'm sure it's an easy thing, but I'm at a loss.
thanks.

Are you working in Arrangement View or Session View??

That’s kind of a weird one, because by design, clips in Session View should trigger from the start of where they are set to trigger.
It would be fun if there could be a workaround though to make other clip positions follow a master clip position.
In the meantime, probably works better to drag them to Arrangement View, do your edits and fixes, then drag those back into the session slots.
