core library / samples

Hi All, this is my first post,

I am using Ableton for years but still I do find the whole file management a bit not so logic.

I noticed in live that the sample folder is a core library one and not changeable.
But I noticed, it is in the directory on my Mac nice sorted in maps and not just one big list of samples in live.
I also noticed there were samples in the the core library sample folder that are made by me? How do they get there?

You might be confounding the Core Library with the User Library.

Haha no i am not confused.

On a mac you can only find the core library while opening ableton program package content.
This content is not changeable.

So i am wondering why my core samples folder in ableton is one big list and contains some homemade samples.
Very un organised.

The core library should be the same for everyone, so you might have saved something there by accident. A good place to save your samples is under User Library. For example, under Samples are some sample packs and a folder with samples I make.

I do a lot of sample management so i know the features. Thats why i don't understand what happend.

Alright, I hope it doesn't take to much work to set things up how you want them to.

I found a work around,

Made an alias of the core libray samples and put the alias in my sample folder.
Then i made Waves Cosmos loading all the files and that worked.
