Opening a Standalone project in Live and controlling external synths

Hi all, I have standalone mode to control all my synths and drum machines etc. in Push standalone. it should be possible to open the project in Live, and then continue to control my synths in Ableton, using the Push as a controller. In Live I can see the midi being received, but no audio is coming though, even through Push should act as an audio interface. In Live preferences I have Push set as remote. In audio input I have the Push.

Just a thought (as it's something I was anticipating for a similar setup), could it be that some devices, audio i/o or midi i/o would have different names in Push and in the Computer ?

That's possible, thanks for the thought, it looks the same from initial investigation. I'm basically using the external instrument device. I might try setting it all up in Live and then porting it over to Push instead. It occurred to me that it could be the non-official cable that I'm using that needs to send audio as well as midi data, but was able to send some audio from my GR-1 triggered directly from the unit itself, not triggered by midi. Let me know if you have any luck!

I got the audio working, I hadn't set up the audio input configurations on Push's audio interface (step 3 here https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... -with-Live).

I also got the midi sending to the external synths: it was grayed out for each external instrument device, I just needed to go back and click on "midi to" and the correct midi channel. Very happy now!
