problem importing screen recording video

I can't seem to drag a screen recording video into Ableton on Mac. The video format is QuickTime, it's a .mov. I'm getting a "could not be read, it may be corrupt or not licensed" error. I can convert the video file, but just wondering if there's an easier way, or maybe there is something I'm missing.

Did converting the video solved it?
I suppose this is only the case with a specific file, right? Loading .mov files in Live on OSX is usually flawless.
