Hi all,
I've been scouring the forums here (and on the Elektronauts site) regarding this issue. I'm unable, thus far, to get a clear answer/resolution, so here's my question:
I'm setting the Push2 to send MIDI From on channel 10. When I activate the pads, they're sending on MIDI channel 10 ONLY across the very top and bottom rows. Moving to any of the rows in between results in MIDI being sent on channels 11-16.
How do I confine the Push 2 to send MIDI ONLY on channel 10 (or whatever channel I select)?
I have several Elektron boxes (Digitakt, Digitone, Syntakt, A4, AR) which are going into Ableton Suite 11 via Overbridge (everything is latest version). My Elektron devices are using channel 10 as the AutoChannel. (Long story short, this is the means by which Elektron boxes allocate signals to the various tracks. It works very well. The issue here is NOT Overbridge, because my other MIDI controllers can be set to channel 10, and they work perfectly to control the Elektron boxes when routed through Ableton on channel 10. ONLY the Push2 is displaying this issue, because it seems the different rows of pads want to send on different MIDI channels. This seems completely inexplicable. Obviously, if one sets a MIDI device to send on a given channel, one can rightfully expect that controller to send on THAT channel. Am I missing something very obvious? Note that my Push2 works fine with other VST's such as Serum, Diva, etc.
I've spent hours on this... my entire weekend, in fact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Someone telling me how to just confine the Push2 to send on the channel I select (and not a range of channels) would be absolutely golden.
Thanks in advance.
