Help!!! Audio recorded tracks have delay!!!!! in live 4.1.4

Post by lorenzen » Wed Oct 12, 2005 2:27 pm

:( Hy

I ve done a recording session with our drummer,
all last week, and I had to move back all the drum tracks so that
the synchro was OK,

I hate this!!!! :x looks like I'm back in the 90's with cubase vst 3
and my first soundblaster AAAAAAARG!

I use a pentium M735 with a presonus FIREBOX with the ASIO presonus
driver....................is the lack of latency compensation?

SomeOne can help me before we record the voices ant the guitars

Thanks

:? OK
I just red the post about
recording a sound......then find the latency (not sur how you get the good value?)
then compensate it and then turn the monitor off

Well I love this soft, that's why I bought it,
but this seems to be quiet bad work

why recording is so simple and synchronized under bug softs like Cubase?

You're not alone, and the bug still exists in Live 5 also, read through this thread.

I really hope Ableton does something to resolve this, it's really hard on us who use Ableton for tracking live instruments.

What you can do as a workaround, is set the monitor to "off" and use ASIO direct monitoring.
