Sets copied from Live 11 to Push 3 are missing recorded audio clips?

Post by tonusr » Thu Jul 27, 2023 9:28 pm

Hello,

I'm having this strange issue with sets copied from Live 11 to Push 3, here's what's happening:

1. I created a set in Live 11.
2. Performed "Collect All and Save"
3. Saved my work.
4. Dragged it into the Push 3
5. Loaded the set in Push 3, and received the following: "Some referenced media files are missing."

No samples of my recorded audio clips on Live are being copied onto the Push 3, only the set with the clip structure, minus the recorded clips.

The other way around works fine, my set copies all of the recorded audio data to Live without an issue.

Am I overlooking something, or is there something off with my Push-Live?

Thanks!

Are you sure the correct options are checked when doing the Collect & Save?
Are you seeing your samples in the Project's folder on your computer?

Yup, I'm seeing the samples in my Project folder on Live11, but I don't see them on Push 3.

Here's the Project I want to copy over to Push 3 ("The Zone Beside the Corridor - from Live"), the Bass Layer track contains 4 audio clips.

Images are not rendering from the link, for some reason, I'll try here: https://gofile.io/d/AicIBZ

After transfer to Push 3, none of the clips for any of the 3 tracks appear on the Push - I checked the User Library /Samples folder as well.

I had this issue last week. One of the discoveries I made - simply that my project in question had a copy in another location. THAT location housed all of my recorded samples.

Can you save the set as a copy, to a different destination, and then use “collect all and save” while checking all 4 boxes in the menu? If that doesn’t work, I would also try the file manager tab. You can see if any files are unused, missing, etc… that could show you the trouble files.

Yes, you must Collect All and Save to a new location once transferred to your computer. But upon transferring to Push, follow these steps to load:
1. push the Load button
2. Navigate backwards to the Project folder
3. Then open the set.

Choosing the set from the first load screen brought up the missing files dialogue every time, but then navigating backwards first opened the files from the project file.
