PUSH 3 DOA
PUSH 3 DOA
Well, i finally got my brand spanking new push3. The box is big and bold; the controller, is a beauty to behold!
I turn it on and... nothing.... only the Push logo and some keys lighting up forever.
I went online, found out about the recovery mode boot, and... the same....
More than 30 min passed for standalone and recovery boot with no luck.
The unit did connect via controller mode but that's it.
Raised a support ticket but I've heard that responses take forever.
Meanwhile, I sold my Push 2 to get this giant paperweight.
Anything else I should try?
Sorry but I'm super pissed about this

Re: PUSH 3 DOA
If the keys and screen light up, I’d just leave it on and run the battery down, then recharge. They recommend calibrating the battery that way anyway. Mine did something similar to yours and wouldn’t boot up either but for some reason leaving it overnight and trying again then it worked. Also, when turning on the P3S, it’s just a quick short press of the power button, don’t press and hold it.
Hopefully one of those ideas helps while you’re waiting for support to get back to you.

Re: PUSH 3 DOA
Try turning it on and off again repeatedly (hard press and hold power to kill it). Also leave it unplugged for a bit.
Sketchy, I know. Mine was doing this whenever it refused to update (and I couldn’t end up getting it too). Eventually sent it back for a refund, tho. Build quality excellent, didn’t feel safe with the underlying software.

Re: PUSH 3 DOA
I was told this was mentioned as part of the initial onboarding screens on Push 3 the first time you boot it up, but due to the errors I had above I never saw this myself. Seems a simple and safe enough thing to do that I’d recommend it anyway.Just_Pierre wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 9:53 amDoes this mean you recommend every Push 3 Standalone owner to re-calibrate? Or only when you have problems?

Sorry, sounds like replacement Push units ship pretty quickly, so hopefully you won’t have too long of a wait for a working one.
