filtering Live's browser by searching plugin : config issue?

On my laptop when I search in Live's browser and type in any plugin or effect they show up in the search results if they are contained in an audio effect rack/instrument rack

for some reason my desktop of which I've mirrored my ableton library with doesnt do this.

for example if I search "serum" on my laptop every single preset of Serum, including when it is nested in a rack will show up, even if the preset does not have "Serum" in the name.

its extremely efficient for finding a sound and my library is vast so I would like to fix this

is this an issue with a preferences file or config file that needs to be mirrored from my laptop?
