'Automation Control Chooser' automatically changing when playing back

Hi,

When I playback something in Ableton, the 'Automation lane chooser' dropdown automatically changes without me selecting anything.

I'm using Komplete Kontrol and Ableton automatically changes the dropdown based on whatever is been automated at the time.

This is pretty annoying as, for example, if i want to add 'Mixer' 'Volume' as an automation lane, I cant because as soon as I select it, it automatically switches to whatever is being automated from KK.

Has anyone had this before? How do I stop this from automatically changing so i can choose which lanes I want to see on the track?

This is Komplete Control changing parameters on its own.
I remember other people facing this problem in the past. 1st thing would be to make sure it is up-to-date.
