Anyone else using a Novation SL MKIII together with Push 3 (in controller mode)?
Previously with Push 2, I was able to turn on auto arm by setting the pad mode to Notes and turn it off by setting the pad mode to Session view.
However, with Push 3, auto arm is always on and I can’t find a way to turn it off. So in pad mode Session view, the column of the selected track is always red and when I press a red pad, it starts recording.
When I disconnect the SL MKIII the issue is gone.
I suspect this is a bug, but maybe someone knows how to turn this off?

Re: Push 3 and Novation SL MKIIi
I have a similar issue. When I have the sl mk3 control surface set and am using the push 3, the automatic arming doesn't work when I select a track on the push. If I long hold the track it does work.
If I remove the sl mk3 control surface and then normal press a track on the push, it auto arms. So there definitely seems to be something in the control surface scripts conflicting with each other.

What’s your midi settings?

Sounds like a bug.
P3 doesn't auto-arm anything when in Session mode.

I have the exact same issue here: SL61 MKIII and Push 3 (which I just got and absolutely love). When the SL is connected, auto (soft) arm kicks in with the Push as well - which makes sense. I disconnected Push and auto (soft) arms is the SL's default state (which I always found annoying). When the SL is disconnected - all's well. I discussed with a Novation support guy and he did not know of an obvious way to disable auto arming in the SL. He's supposed to dig into it a bit further. I tried options.txt configuration for Ableton - but it did not work. The SL is half way out the door
Ugly workaround: create and "hard" arm and mute an empty midi track. Make sure "Exclusive Arm" (in Push 3 / Status) is set to "off". You can then arm any other track as needed. Switching tracks in Push won't auto arm them even when the SL 49/61 is connected.
